when they met.......

It was odd , in spite of talking so many times she was worried. Worried about what she would say, how she should look, what they would talk about. Thoughts of meeting him kept her awake all night. But when they finally met it was different, very formal kind of thing. They both seemed shy. It took them almost an hour to behave at least like friends. And when awkwardness subsided, they chat for about an hour or two at rajouri station.

They both had spent time in front of mirror before this meeting, this much was obvious. When they left she felt exhilarated and yeah they did exchange no. this time.
Now mail as well as messages kept them aware of anything major happening in their lives. This bond btw them was strengthening. Four more months passed, and they became best of friends. They met twice within this time and those days made to the list of "top 10 days of her life".
When they met again, she had asked him to come this time.
"I am going to Bangalore for my job training." she suddenly dropped this bomb, without looking at him. This was  hard for her. By this time she felt strongly about him, and they couldn't keep this thing going when there was no declaration done as yet.
"I don't believe in long distance relationship thing " he said softly to her.
"Neither do I" she replied as coolly as she could. This was true but left her empty and devastated at the same time.
There wasn't much to say after this so they parted with cold and formal goodbyes.

couldn't be more familiar....

Now their email-id's took the centre-stage sidetracking fb as it was their new way to stay in touch.

Next day, he mailed her with just a simple "Hi". This started their conversation which continued for an hour or two while she worked side wise. She had shared her work info whereas he detailed his vacation to her.

This routine of knowing each other kept on going for a week or two with a good success rate.

By the end of November they were quite familiar of each other. He came to know about her birthday, hobbies, friends, family and many such details whereas she knew about his friends and family. 

By now, she had realised he take his time to open up to people on contrary she  was quite an open book, easily readable.

December bothered them both. Not having his email in her id wasn't usual but was necessary. They had decided to skip talking for 2 weeks so that he could concentrate on his exams. She had become habitual of him . Not talking to him was bothering her more than it should. It made her edgy by the end of first week. Clouds of waiting and despair finally subdued on 17th DEC with his 

"finally over with exams".

She smiled hugely  and send her emotions in the form of ":D" followed by "I am happy they are ."

" i m happy they are over now we can talk" came his message.

These simple words especially from him made her very happy. In two months of their friendship this was first time he had said something like this. That day they decided to meet within that week.
